We render independent social work services to organisations, solicitors, local authorities, voluntary sectors and the vulnerable clients in the North West.

We also do support education projects, we offer training to local authorities, voluntary sectors and the public at large.

Assessments


We conduct assessments to produce requested independent social work report on different cases such as:

a. Care Needs Assessment, using the Care Act 2014 as a framework

Local Authorities are obliged to undertake assessments regardless of the person finances, immigration status or perceived eligibility.

b. NASS Support Assessment (S4, support)

This report is for those that become appeal rights exhausted (ARE) when their asylum claim is unsuccessful if they do not have accommodation and/or cannot afford to meet their essential living needs. As well as demonstrating that the person is destitute and meet all requirements.

c. Article 8. The Right to Family

Independent Social workers are often called upon to balance the interests and views of different individuals and the wider community and this process consists of deciding whether the action is necessary and proportionate. This assessment of the situation is taken in the context of legislation and agency policies and practices.

d. Reports on appeal for Deportation

This report explores the effects that deportation might have upon family members where notice of deportation is being appealed on human rights grounds.

e. Application for Destitution Domestic Violence Concession (DDV concession) anD REPORTS

This concession is available for spouse, civil partner, unmarried or same sex partner of a British citizen or someone present and settled in the UK, and their relationship break down due to domestic violence. Without this concession this person will become destitute and in need of financial help and intend to make a claim to stay permanently in the UK under the Domestic Violence Rule. Welfare supports & visits


We provide advice, support and visits to those in crisis, when requested by local authorities, voluntary sectors or immigration solicitors.

Before applying for a Travel Document:

This service is provided for individuals with refugee status only.

Before your meeting prepare 2 passport sized photos and your BRP (Biometric Residence Permit).

Please ensure your bank account has the sufficient funds to make the transaction, as all payments are made online.
